South Korea: Flag and Map T-Shirts & Other Gifts

The South Korean flag was adopted on July 12, 1948 and consists of a red and blue taegeuk surrounded by four black trigrams on a white background. South Korea is an Asian nation occupying the southern part of the Korean Peninsula with the Sea of Japan to the east and the Yellow Sea to the west. In the northeast the terrain is mostly mountainous with more extensive coastal plains and rolling hills elsewhere. The outline of the map is roughly rectangular and combines nicely with the basic colors of the flag to create unique and distinctive designs for South Korean national mementos.
