Solomon Islands: Flag and Map T-Shirts & Other Gifts
FlagAndMap sells a broad range of products with designs for the Solomon Islands. Designs feature the Solomon Islands flag and map of the Solomon Islands plus other motifs. The Solomon Islands flag was adopted in 1977 and comprises two main fields, blue and green, divided diagonally by a thin yellow stripe. Five white stars adorn the blue field nearest the hoist and represent the five main island groups. The Solomon Islands are situated in the southwest Pacific and comprise nearly one thousand islands in total. The nation attained independence on 7 July 1978. The stars of the flag nicely complement the oceanic nature of the map and together create suitable designs for Solomon Islands national mementos.
