The flag of Cyprus was adopted on Aug 16, 1960 and comprises an orange colored map of the island above two green olive branches over a white background. Cyprus is an island nation with a divided administration lying at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. Its terrain is dominated by two mountain ranges bordering a central plain. The outline of the map is a generally compact oval shape with an extended northeastern peninsula. As an island this outline is highly recognizable and combines effectively with the colors of the flag to create unique and distinctive designs for Cypriot national mementos. All our products are customizable so you have the option of adding your own text or images at no extra cost.
