The flag of Bosnia Herzegovina was adopted on Feb 4, 1998. The design includes a yellow triangle over a blue background, oriented with the hypotenuse running upper left to lower right and the other two sides abutting and perpendicular to the upper edge of the flag. Running just beyond the diagonal of the triangle are 7 full and 2 cutoff white stars. Bosnia Herzegovina is a largely mountainous country located in the Balkan region of southern Europe with a very narrow connection to the Adriatic Sea. The map is compact and triangular shaped, which combines well with the bright colors of the flag to create elegant and distinctive mementos for Bosnian national mementos.
