The flag of Austria was adopted in 1230, the second oldest national flag after that of Denmark. It comprises three equal horizontal bands, the central being white with the outer two being red. Austria is a landlocked country in central Europe with a largely mountainous terrain excepting low-lying areas to the north and east. The outline of the map is horizontally elongated and combines with the basic colors of the flag to create unique and distinctive designs for Austrian national mementos. All our products are customizable so you have the option of adding your own text or images at no extra cost.
